This is a fun stitch to use. The dishcloth uses only a little cotton yarn. You'll enjoy crocheting this quick and easy pattern . Once you learn the crochet stitch, you can crochet some potholders to match.

Snapdragon Stitch Dishcloth

Materials

1-1/2 Oz 4-ply cotton yarn

Size H aluminum crochet hook

Gauge: 2 V st + 5 shells repeats = 4 inches, 4 rows = 4 1/4 inches

Abbreviations Used

Ch Chain
Dc Double Crochet
Sp Space
V-St V Stitch


Directions:


Special Stitch Used

V-Stitch - dc, ch 1, dc

Ch 37.
Row 1: (Right Side) Dc in fifth ch from hook, *skip the next 3 chs, 5 dc in the next ch, skip the next 3 chs, V-st in next ch; repeat from * across.

Row 2: Ch 3, (counts as first dc), turn, 2 dc in first ch 1 sp, skip next 3 dc, V-st in next dc, *5 dc in next ch 1 sp, skip next 3 dc, V-st in next dc. Repeat from * across ending with 3 dc in last sp.

Row 3: Ch 4 (counts as first dc plus ch 1), turn; dc in the same st, *5 dc in next ch 1 sp, skip the next 3 dc, work a V-st in next dc; repeat from * across.

Row 4:Repeat Rows 2-3 until desired length.
