This recipe is a little different then your ordinary lasagna in that it doesn't use tomato sauce. You'll love this yummy turkey lasagna. Chicken can be replaced for the turkey.

This is a good way to use some of the turkey leftovers from a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal. Canned turkey or chicken may also be used. Be sure to try it this year.

Equipment Needed

9" x 13" baking pan

large spoon for stirring

oven

Ingredients


1/2 c diced onion

3 Tbsp margarine

1 can of cream of chicken soup

8 oz Velveeta cheese

Lasagna noodles

2 c mozzarella cheese

3 c shredded turkey

1/2 c grated Parmesan cheese

1/3 c milk

1 small can of mushrooms (optional)

 

 

Directions


1. Saute the onion in the butter or margarine until the onions are tender.

2. Add the soup, milk, mushrooms and Velveeta cheese to the onions. Cook until blended.

3. Add the turkey to the mixture.

4. Cook the noodles.

5. Layer the ingredients in a 9" x 13" greased pan. First sauce, then noodles and then mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers ending with Parmesan cheese on the top.

6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
